Heart for Clients, Backbone for Battle
Born and raised on the Pennsylvania-New-Jersey corridor, Cory Trobman joined the Law Offices of Craig A. Altman straight out of Widener University Delaware Law School in 2013 and has since steered hundreds of personal injury and workers’ comp claims to successful resolution across the Philadelphia five-county region and South Jersey. Today, Cory is a Bucks County resident, along with his wife and two young children, remaining a cornerstone of the firm’s growth.
Cory’s practice philosophy starts with unapologetic compassion: listening first, learning each client’s real-world pressures, then tailoring strategy to those needs. “Without genuine empathy,” he says, “there’s no way to give the legal advice people deserve.” That client-centric outlook, shared by his partners, shapes every phone call, negotiation, and courtroom appearance.
Before law school, Cory supervised insurance claims; during law school, he interned on Social Security matters, drafting appellate briefs that persuaded the Appeals Council to remand multiple disability cases. These early victories sharpened his eye for insurer tactics and taught him that every file has a human heartbeat. That insight now fuels his results in negligence and workers’ comp cases.
Peers have noticed the balance he strikes between courtesy and ferocity. Super Lawyers® named him to its “Rising Stars” list for Personal Injury (2021–2023), a distinction reserved for roughly 2 ½ percent of Pennsylvania attorneys.
Clients, meanwhile, praise the calm, candid guidance that lets them heal while he turns up the pressure on carriers.
“I listen until I know your story by heart, then I fight until the insurance company finally pays what that story is worth.”
